為了慶祝蘇州市職業大學成立30 周年，同時為了給同學們一個更好的展現自己風采的舞臺，激發廣大同學學習英語的熱情，提高同學對英語口語的興趣，營造一個良好的英語學習氛圍，為更多的同學提供一個盡情揮灑創意，展現英語風采的舞臺，管理工程系英語愛好者協會在得到老師和同學的支持下，于4月20日舉行了“母校風采”英語演講比賽，此次比賽主要針對在校大一大二的學生。大一學生參加的積極性很高，報名人數多，在我系大一學生新生中有一定的影響力，比賽設有多種獎項，給選手們提供了更多的表現機會，體現“公正，公開”的比賽原則。比賽榮幸地邀請了外籍老師John和Christing，團委學生會副主席沈金龍作為本次演講比賽的評委，并且邀請外語系朱佳和管理系王慧芳作為本次比賽的主持人。英語愛好者協會會長和前任會長也列席觀看。
對此次決賽之前，我部各班干事到各班進行宣傳組織各班學生到賽場進行觀看，以擴大演講比賽的影響力。在接到系部的指示后，傾力策劃并組織了這次活動的賽事。在學生會學習部的統籌下，把比賽中的各個環節與組織部、文藝部、宣傳部合作，如此細致的分工合作，為本次比賽順利進行奠定了基礎。
這次比賽由演講和才藝表演2個部分組成。在第一部分，大家表現得非常精彩，有的選手擁有出色的語音、語調；有的選手擁有激情和說服力；有的選手展示了自信的力量。大家都很好地傳達了本次比賽的主題。同時也調動了同學們對學習英語的興趣,提高同學們的英語口語能力和實用能力。
在正式比賽之前為體現“公平”原則，組織各參賽選手進行抽簽，已決定各選手上場順序。決賽結束后，比賽中參賽選手準備很充分，演講也很投入，并且充分表現出了自我的特色，讓觀眾深深地領略了他們瀟灑的口語風采，值得一提的是有一位參賽選手主動提出問題與外教交流。評委對選手的表現進行了點評，指出了個選手在比賽過程中的不足和缺點，提出對同學們的期望，以及對同學們的鼓勵，?，F場的5位評委依公正的態度為每位參賽選手打分。其中有6位同學表現突出，依流利，純正口語征服了評委和觀眾，在眾多參賽選手當中脫穎而出，

路漫漫其修遠兮，吾將上下而索。她叫劉xx，是愚公中學初一（2）班的一名普通的學生。說她普通，是因為你無法在茫茫人海中一眼將她認出來，但她一直認為每個生活在世界上的人都是一個不普通的個體，每個人都是與眾不同的，所以她從來不會因為自己在別人眼中的平凡而自卑。她從來不畏懼困難，總是迎難而上，她相信“世上無難事，只怕有心人”，她自信她能做到。她活潑可愛，談笑間無不充滿著智慧；

一、以德為首做講道德的中學生
兒時起，父母就教她做一個懂道德的孩子。上學后，在老師的精心教導下，她更是懂得了無論做什么事，都應把“德”放在首位。在學校，她樂于助人，哪位同學需要幫助，無論是學習還是生活，她都搶在前面；在家里，她除了做好自己的事，還幫母親做飯，幫父親整理資料，奶奶的生日，也總忘不了為她畫一張賀卡；在社會上，她總是會利用假期與同學結伴看望孤寡老人，發放自制的文明禮儀宣傳材料。因此，她總是受到大家的好評，同時也帶動了不少同學加入了“講道德”的隊伍中。
二、努力學習做愛學習的中學生
小學時她的成績就一直名列前茅，上中學后，她又積極調整學習態度，努力探索出了一套適合自己的學習方法，很快地投入到了緊張的中學學習中。無論是主科還是副科，她都能夠認真聽講，積極思考，提出問題。有時候，她感覺到自己稍有退步，就認真總結近期學習情況、方法，并與老師交流，聽取老師的建議。面對現在學習生活中的激烈競爭，她并不畏懼，她還總是笑著說：“受過壓力的彈簧才能彈得更高，競爭給我們壓力，我們要把壓力化為動力，努力學習才是呀！”正是積極的學習態度，使她在各科各項考試中都名列前茅，還多次被評為“學習標兵”。
三、認真工作做負責任的中學生
從小學開始，她就擔任班長，副大隊長等多項職務。上初一后，她又以出色的'表現贏得了老師和同學們的信任擔任起了班長。她團結同學，熱愛班級，帶領同學們參加學校組織的各種比賽，她所編排的班級節目，多次在年級和學校榮獲一等獎。期末評比時，她全票當選為“優秀班級干部”。

忙了這么一陣子，覺得自己真的盡力了。嗓子一直不太好，咳嗽好幾個星期都沒有好利索，就是每天吃消炎藥吃止咳藥，西瓜霜金嗓子跟糖一樣的往嘴里塞的一種境界。上火，口腔潰瘍，梨和梨汁就像救命稻草一樣每天跟緊我。
從發音到抑揚頓挫，老師糾正了很多遍。每天對著墻壁嘚嘚，對著鏡子大聲練習，這是別人看在眼里的。對著別人演講了很多遍，今天一遍又一遍的過鏡頭，那種馬上接近成功但是突然卡殼的感覺就是讓人非常沮喪，非常崩潰，壓力非常大。當看到劉雨萌這種氣場非常大的女生時，哦天，我真的覺得自己好渺小，那種自卑感真的讓人覺得好難受。今天我在臺上的時候，每掃過她一眼，我語速就加快，就緊張，這種滋味兒真不好過。也不得不說，每次見到崔洋學長都覺得非常開心，我很緊張，但是見到他，他不用有任何表情，任何動作，我就覺得他很奇葩，我自己在旁邊就可以咯咯的樂個不停了，然后娜娜和徐偲學姐就迷茫地看著我，可是自己每次見到那個奇葩學長，還是好想笑。但是，奇葩學長作為專業組的一員，發音真的so棒的說很疲憊。可以說這些天一直很疲憊。可是我知道，這些天我真的在成長。
我心理素質并不好。這些天我一直在邁過很多坎。很多時候，我都覺得自己不行，做不到，很想放棄，很想逃脫，不想面對。我也很喜歡安逸的日子，喜歡靠在靠墊上，桌旁一杯咖啡或者果汁的`讀書，聽音樂，抱著電腦看電視劇。我實在是個明明很需要大口呼吸新鮮空氣卻又自己束縛自己，讓自己去做很多事的人。我活的非常矛盾。我一直追求理想的安逸，卻為這個理想的安逸在現實中馬不停蹄。記得你跟我講，人要有信仰。那么，按你告訴我的，作為我對信仰的解釋，我只能信仰：我現在所做的一切，對我的未來是有幫助的。
目前，我只能以此來獲得絲毫的安慰與解脫。
我很累。不是說很想大口吃東西，或者睡一大覺就可以滿足的。我需要大口的呼吸新鮮空氣，我覺得我的生活缺氧了，以至我的麻木由頭蔓至全身，就連微笑都有垂死的感覺。
只能說，經歷過不后悔吧。三進二我也成功了。娜娜最后被刷掉的一刻，我不得不非常矯情的說我的心疼了一下，這么多天一起奮斗，共同經歷，過關斬將，內心的波瀾是不能完全敘述得清的。我們都在見證彼此，一點一滴。
我自己的聲音我知道，緊張就會有顫音，有時只是別人聽不出來而已，而且有時不知不覺就會緊張起來。我真的有努力克服，那種明知會出現這種情況，卻要極力控制的感覺真的很煎熬卻又非常難以形容。但有時又非常放的開，整個過程沒有一點緊張的成分，非常放松的去完成整個演講，那種感覺是奇妙的，像完成某種超越，使英語演講像真正用母語說話一樣的感覺，不會那么刻板。
演講老師一直在跟我講流暢，一種像用母語說話的氣息的流暢，只可惜我大多時候都做不到。在我眼里，這稿子它就是臺詞兒，哪里會跟我平常說話一樣呢。

為了激發廣大同學學習英語的熱情，提高同學對英語口語的興趣，營造一個良好的英語學習氛圍，為更多的同學提供一個盡情揮灑創意，展現英語風采的舞臺，我部在得到老師和同學的支持下，于本月舉行了英語演講比賽，此次比賽主要針對大一的學生。大一學生參加的積極性很高，報名人數多，在我系大一學生新生中有一定的影響力，比賽設有初賽，復賽，和決賽，給選手們提供了更多的表現機會，體現“公平，公正，公開”的比賽原則。
在比賽初期，大課堂各干事在各班進行宣傳，鼓勵各班的同學積極報名，預賽報名率達到預定的40%參賽率，有個別班級甚至達到80%的參賽率，預賽于11月12日在1514。1513。1512進行，經過裁判的評判和點評，共有四十名選手進入復賽，復賽于11月15日在1514教室進行，四十名進入復賽的選手，經過又一輪的角逐，共有十九民選手脫穎而出“沖”入決賽，決賽于11月23日19：00在2109教室正式拉開帷幕

（四）、參賽選手對本次比賽的評價及寶貴意見。
憑著對英語的極大興趣與對新事物的熱情，我決定挑戰自己參加這次比賽。通過比賽，我認識了很多新朋友，證明了自己的實力，使我在英語學習上更有自信。祝愿所有同學都能在將來的英語學習中取得更大的成果。希望下次比賽能進一步加大宣傳力度。
